    Shantell Martin is a multidisciplinary artist and thinker whose work spans public speaking, intuitive philosophy, cultural facilitation, curation, choreography, songwriting, and performance. Her creative practice continually evolves, bridging fine art, education, design, technology, and philosophy to explore themes of intersectionality, identity, and play.

    Shantell’s work has been celebrated in multiple solo museum shows at prestigious institutions, including the Brooklyn Museum, Denver Art Museum, New Britain Museum of American Art, and Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Her immersive exhibitions captivate audiences with their reflective, thought-provoking, and culturally resonant storytelling.

    Beyond the art world, Shantell has collaborated with leading organizations like the New York City Ballet, the Boston Ballet, and Grammy- and Pulitzer-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, while also serving as an adjunct professor at MIT Media Lab, NYU Tisch ITP, and Columbia University’s Brown Institute. Notably, at the Brown Institute, she created a large-scale wall installation exploring the intersection of visual storytelling and technological innovation.
